Why We Give
God is so generous to us and He calls us to be generous as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at. Giving to the church helps proclaim the gospel and serve the Swannanoa Valley. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

What Is Tithing?
Tithing is a form of worship to God. It shows Him that we trust Him to provide for us in our personal lives. “Tithe” means ten percent, which is the typical portion of our income that we give back God to thank Him for all He has given us. Trusting God with our finances is a great way to demonstrate our dependence on Him.
